HEY YOU, IT'S ME
Claudia Krummenacher, Yoga Teacher
Great to have you here!
My name is Claudia and I have been practicing Hatha Yoga and TriYoga since 2012 and completed my training as a Hatha Yoga teacher at the Lotos Yoga School in Basel and Zurich in 2017 (500h). My HATHA FLOW Yoga classes are influenced by the yoga style “TriYoga”, in which the wave-like movements form flowing transitions between the asanas.
My advanced training (2023/2024) in the field of Yin Yoga (56h) has opened up new perspectives for me, especially the ability to develop an intense body awareness. Yin yoga is characterized by the principle of “letting go”: It is about getting into a pose, then holding it for a duration of 3 to 10 minutes while continuously relaxing, becoming supple and letting the moment work. This practice focuses mainly on the connective tissue, joints and bones - the so-called yin elements of our body - as opposed to the muscles, which are considered yang elements. Yin yoga has a positive influence on the meridians, which in turn has a harmonizing effect on our organ functions. In my view, yin yoga is a valuable addition to the more active, yang-dominant yoga styles. I experience the practice of Yin Yoga as a soothing, meditative calm for body and mind - a gentle transition into our inner space of timelessness. Yin Yoga is part of my workshops from time to time. If you are interested in regular Yin Yoga classes, please get in touch with me.
I look forward to hopefully welcoming you soon.
